In todays post, i am going to share the receipe of Hibiscus Tea, which has got lot of Medicinal values in it. i Just love the vibrant red colour of this beautiful flower. This Tea is a wonderful cooler for this summer.
Ingredients:
Hibiscus flowers - 5
Lemon - 1
Honey / Sugar - 1 Tbsp
Lemon Slices - 3 ( for Garnishing)
Method:
Boil 1 cup of water. Take the petals of the of the flower and wash it in water. add the petals to the boiling water. the flower starts bleeding it colour. let it boil for a minute and filter the tea, add lemon juice to the tea which enchances the colour of the tea. after adding the lemon juice the tea turns into bright red colour. now add honey or sugar according to your taste. garnish with lemon slices and serve hot.

I have been going through a mental trauma all these days.
My Mom underwent a bypass surgery in a famous hospital in chennai in the month of march last year.
After a week of discharge from hospital, lockdown has been announced due to Covid - 19.
She was slowly recovering and in the meanwhile in the mid of December she got a stroke and hospitalised. Angiogram was done and diagnosed as Acute pulmonary edema and problem in heart.
now is back home but coughing due to pulmonary edema low function of left ventricle.
I don't know what to do to save my mom.
if any method or anyone there please help me to save my mom.
I have peeled the garlic pods and stuffed it in a plastic container and kept it in refridgerator for a 3 days. when i opened the third day, to my utter surprise all the garlic have formed tiny roots.
when i let it for a week time, this is the result when i opened the container.
Now i am gonna plant it in planter to harvest the garlic. Pretty eaay isnt it?

Mom Strings flowers into a nice garlands using the plantain fibre. In olden days, people used to string the flowers with these fibre usually known as Vaalai Naar.
Her magical fingers paly well with the plantain fibre which is wetted now and then to make it flexible to tie the flowers together so that it will never fell apart.
She make such a nice garlands with all kind of flowers and today, she is back home after the bypass surgery which she underwent 6 months back.
She never let me go out with plain hairdo. She always gets beautiful flowers that spreads the fragrance of her love.
Though she is just recovering from such a painful surgery, she bought flowers from our neighbour and made such a beautiful bunch of flowers which will adore my hair.
India is under lock down due to Novel Corona Virus. So we are staying home for a longtime. so after long time, we purchased some provisions in Big bazaar.
I love his Glass mug which is so pretty and handy so i bought one and a set of glasses along with other stuff. i even paid 20 bucks for the cotton bag to carry all this goods.
they banned to plastic carry bag but look at the dhal and other provisions which are still comes in plastic packets. Wont this stuff come under plastic products?
Yummy Carrot Dosa prepared by my brother.... He made this in lock down for me and all the family members.
It is so yum and really happy seeing his cooking skills. before marriage he never did such things. but now look at the Dosa how colourful it is with loads of grated carrot and chopped onions as topping.
As I am diet conscious, I said no to Cheese on top of it... But it tastes too good with cheese topping on it... It is so delicious with the combo of butter, onion and carrot...
